Synopsis

Odd, off, unbalanced.  Beane is a nearly invisible man whose world is growing smaller and darker by the day.  Standing at the edges of the world inhabited by his
work-obsessed sister and her slightly sardonic husband, Beane seems to be moving further and further out into the void—until he meets Molly.  Once he discovers Molly, the world makes sense for the first time in his life.

In this play, “ . . .love (like faith, hope and even theatre) might be an illusion, but  . . . it’s an illusion that can generate its own reality. And . . .its erotic vitality is what makes life worth living. It’s a simple thesis, but here delivered with a disarming dose of peppery humour”  --Alison Croggon  The Australian
