ABOUT THE PLAY:
First performed on Valentine’s Day in London, 1895, the last published play of Wilde’s “quartet” of comedies- Lady Windermere’s Fan, A Woman of No Importance- it is renowned as Wilde’s most popular and best work. A romp consisting of mistaken identity, love, and the follies of marriage, Earnest reminds us of the importance of, well, simply being.
There will be some onstage intimacy. We will have an intimacy coordinator.
